xNET 1.0

Browse your network structure

App

xNET is a Mac app that turns your LAN into something you can actually see. It listens for Bonjour services across common protocols, maps what it finds onto an interactive canvas, and keeps the picture updated as devices come and go. Optional extended discovery reaches beyond pure Bonjour, so routers and other gear that do not advertise the usual services can still appear when your environment allows it.

You explore the graph with zoom and focus, inspect each device in context, and optionally watch latency as a heatmap so you can tell at a glance which hosts are sluggish. When you need to share or archive what you learned, you can export the map in several formats.

xNET is built for people who want clarity without digging through raw network tools: a calm, visual overview of what is on your network, how it is connected, and enough detail to troubleshoot or document it when something matters.

Version 1.0.
Minimum OS required: macOS 14 or later versions.
Universal binary optimized for Intel and Apple Silicon processors. Notarized by Apple secure service to prevent malware. English version only. Compatible Apple Intelligence.

Finds devices and services across common protocols (web, SSH, file sharing, AirPlay, and more) on your local network.

  • Interactive network map
See everything on a zoomable canvas with a clear hierarchy instead of a flat list.

  • Extended LAN mode
Optionally surface routers and other non-Bonjour gear using ARP and SSDP-style discovery where your build and permissions allow.

  • Real-time updates
The map refreshes as hosts and services appear, change, or leave the network.

  • Per-device detail
Inspect names, addresses, and advertised services in context from the graph.

  • Latency heatmap
Turn on a heatmap to spot which devices are responding slowly.
